What's New This Summer?
We are excited to announce that this summer, we have added some new and exciting activities to our summer curriculum. In addition to our regular program, we are now offering:
Discovering Nature: In this activity, children will learn about the natural world around them, including plants, animals, and ecosystems. They will have the opportunity to explore the outdoors and learn about the environment.
Exploring Insects: Children will learn about the fascinating world of insects, including their anatomy, behavior, and habitat. They will have the opportunity to observe, handle, and study different kinds of insects.
Exploring Wild Animals: Children will learn about different types of wild animals, including their habitats, behaviors, and adaptations. They will also learn about conservation and how to protect wildlife.
Exploring Dinosaurs: Children will learn about the fascinating world of dinosaurs, including their anatomy, behavior, and habitat. They will have the opportunity to study fossils and learn about the different dinosaur species.
Exploring Sea Animals: Children will learn about the fascinating world of sea animals, including their anatomy, behavior, and habitat. They will have the opportunity to study different sea creatures and learn about their adaptations.
Exploring Space: Children will learn about the solar system, stars, and galaxies. They will also learn about space exploration and the history of space travel.
Exploring Science & Art: Children will have the opportunity to explore the intersection of science and art, learning about how science and technology have influenced art and vice versa.
Exploring the Kitchen: Children will learn about cooking and nutrition, including how to make healthy and delicious snacks and meals.
Exploring Cultures: Children will learn about different cultures around the world, including their traditions, music, food, and art. They will have the opportunity to explore their own cultural heritage and learn about other cultures.
Our curriculum is designed to provide children with a well-rounded educational experience that encourages them to explore and learn about the world around them.
Our Field Trip Destinations
We also offer a minimum of two field trips per week to exciting destinations such as the Metro Zoo, Science Center, Discovery Science Museum, Water Parks, Chuck E. Cheese, Monkey Joe's, Flamingo Garden, State Parks, Movie Theater, Miami Seaquarium, Dave & Buster's, Ice Skating, and Jungle Island at no additional cost. Field trip locations may vary.
Breakfast, Lunch, and Snack Included Daily
At our summer camp, we believe that a healthy and nutritious diet is important for children's growth and development. That's why we provide breakfast, lunch, and snack daily to all of our campers. Our menu is designed to provide children with a well-balanced diet that is both delicious and healthy.
Water Day
Every Friday (weather permitting) is water day! To participate each Friday:
Children must arrive with their bathing suits or trunks on already.
Children must wear water shoes for safety outside on water days.
Those children who are not potty trained must wear a water diaper.
A towel and an extra change of dry clothes must be sent.
Sunblock and a sippy cup for drinking water are recommended.
Everything must be labeled with the child's name as well as a big bag to carry wet items back home!
